Lab Hours

The Open Lab is a student project laboratory. This cross-platform lab offers Macs, PCs, Pro Tools mbox workstations, and Video Capture stations. Software tutorials are available for checkout, as are WACOM tablets, flatbed scanners, and other equipment. Digital audio and video stations are available for students enrolled in related courses.

Students enrolled in hands-on courses will receive 15 hours of lab time per course. Beyond the initial 15 hours, students may use the lab when stations are available. Unused lab time cannot be rolled over into the following semester. Lab use is not available for lecture/demonstration courses, unless otherwise specified. Lab visitors must sign in and sign out and present a valid student ID.

(Students should start wrapping up their projects 10 minutes before the lab closes in order to be out on time.)

Please Note: Lab hours are subject to change during holidays, holiday weekends, between semesters, and for special circumstances. Students will be notified by signs posted outside the lab.
