Summer Institute on Sexuality

10th Annual NSRC Summer Institute:
Culture, Sex, and Pleasure
at San Francisco State University

The 10th annual Summer Institute will explore the concepts of culture, sex, and pleasure through a critical analysis of race, gender, sexuality, age, disability and religion. Participants will have the option of enrolling in either a two-week or four-week intensive program.

This year’s program will feature preeminent sexuality research scholars whose work challenge conventional paradigms around sexuality and pleasure. Academic tracks are available for undergraduate and graduate students, with space for professionals working in the field of sexuality as well.

Dates

The 2011 NSRC Summer Institute at San Francisco State University is an intensive program. The following sessions are available:

  • Two-week session: June 20-July 1, 2011 (3 academic credits)
  • Two-week session: July 5- July 15, 2011 (3 academic credits)
  • Four-week session: June 20-July 15, 2011 (6 academic credits)

Admissions

Deadline for priority/international applicants is April 1, 2011, and all domestic applications (US residents) is May 1, 2011.
