During fall and spring semesters, SF State provides free shuttle service. For a specific schedule and a list of stops, visit Shuttle Service at San Francisco State.
Weekend Services on Campus
Limited food service is available in the Student Union on the SF State campus, 10:00am - 5:00pm on Saturdays. No campus food services are available on Sundays. Classrooms are cool on weekends because of SF State's energy conservation program. Dress warmly.
Textbooks & Materials

SF State Extended Learning students have regular library privileges in accordance with library policies and procedures. Please inquire at Extended Learning either in person or by calling 415.405.7700 for instructions on how to obtain your SF State ID card. Consult the library for services available and hours of operation.
The Student Health Service provides high quality, accessible, cost-effective outpatient primary care, pharmacy, and health promotion services to all eligible students. All services are provided by trained and experienced professional staff. For fees and appointments contact Student Health Services.
The Seven Hills Conference Center is available for meetings of educationally related programs and accommodates any size group up to 300 persons. A full range of audio-visual and teleconferencing support equipment can be provided for most conferences at no additional charge.
The residence halls are located near Lake Merced, Harding Park Golf Course, the San Francisco Zoo, Fort Funston, and Ocean Beach (for hang gliding, hiking, and surfing). San Francisco State University's annual security report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by San Francisco State University, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
