
Free Online Classes for Essential Workers
San Francisco State University’s College of Extended Learning is offering educational opportunities to our essential workers during this pandemic that is affecting families, communities and cities. Courses are offered in select programs for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters only.
Who Can Take Free Classes?
Free courses are available to first responders and essential workers. All registration information will be reviewed and verified by a committee before enrollment. Enrollments are subject to availability.

First Responders:
Students must be certified or licensed healthcare professionals or first responders, such as Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), Registered Nurses (RN), Physician Assistants (PA), Medical Assistants (MA), EMTs, Paramedics, and Police, Fire, Correctional & Probation Officers.

Essential Workers:
Workers such as grocery store employees, food service providers or janitorial staff, certified or any other licensed healthcare professionals. Other essential workers may be considered as well.

- Second course at 50% discount
- Applicable for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters only
