Illustrator is a vector drawing program that can produce images for output to any size while interfacing easily with many software applications such as Flash, Photoshop, and After Effects. In this class you will learn how to set up a document, work with selection, drawing, transformation, and type tools, and be introduced to clipping masks, layers, and applying solid colors, gradients, and patterns to your artwork. Weekly assignments will guide you toward completing your own design layout as a final project. Prepress, scripting, and database issues will not be covered.
