Steve Brindle, Ph.D., PMP, is a co-founder and partner at Advoco, an international consulting company based in San Francisco where he brings value to clients through a combination of project management capabilities, communication skills and technical expertise. Steve’s qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematics from UCSD; a first class honors B.A. in Mathematics from Oxford University, UK; and Project Management Professional. Awards include the Fulbright Scholarship; UC Regent’s Scholarship; and ATV College Scholarship.
Fabio De Martino is currently Senior Manager in the Global Quality function at Genentech where he manages continuous improvements global projects and programs. Prior to this role he was a Manufacturing Engineer at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics where he led critical projects and investigations in compliance with FDA regulations and international quality standards, managing continuous improvement initiatives across Europe, Asia and US. Fabio holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Salerno and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Pisa University, Italy. Fabio is a licensed/registered engineer (Italy), a certified Lean Manufacturing Six-Sigma Black Belt and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
He is the President-elect of the local Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) Chapter and a PMP Instructor for the San Francisco Bay Area PMI Chapter.
Sutanu Ghosh, PMP, PMI-ACP, MCTS, has served as a PMO as well as a hands-on PM at many distinguished institutions in Silicon Valley for over 20 years, including Bay Networks, Symbol, Lockheed Martin, NetApp and VMware.
A quality enthusiast at heart, he has a passion for “Lean” which led to his 6 Sigma certification. He has been teaching MS Project and MS Excel to project management practitioners for over 10 years. Sutanu has a MS in Engineering from AZ State University, Tempe and is widely published on CAX Tools.
Oliver Gildersleeve, PMP, MCTS, has worked remotely since 2010 with a consultancy in Virginia, scheduling six-month projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Previously, as vice president of EPM Solutions, he taught Project Server at companies across the US. Prior to that work, he implemented project management improvement for LifeScan, a Johnson & Johnson subsidiary; Franklin Templeton; the Electric Power Research Institute; and Philadelphia Electric. Oliver holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Doug Hawley, M.B.A., serves as a quality systems and project management consultant and educator. His customers are such private, government and non-profit organizations as Emerson Electric Company, U.S. Navy, Governor's Office of California and the Preventive Medicine Research Institute founded by Dr. Dean Ornish. He is a 2007 Honored Instructor in the University of California extension system and has taught quality leadership at the Petroleum Institute in Harbin, China. He studied quality under Dr. W. Edward Deming. He was a Distinguished Naval Graduate, Commander in the Naval Reserve and Navy Top Gun having flown the aircraft carrier based A-4, A-7 and F-18. He has an M.B.A. from Cornell University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
Athens Kolias, MPM, PMP, PMI-ACP, is a proud alumnus of San Francisco State University, earning her Bachelor's in Marketing. Veronica A. K. Neal, Ed.D., is a certified diversity professional, integral coach, leadership consultant, and project communications and human resources management specialist. Dr. Neal has close to two decades of experience in the field of diversity education, training and human development. Professionally, she has served as a nonprofit director, program manager, project manager and now manages a successful consulting practice.
