Summer 2020
Paris/Toulouse, France

Make Your Micro Aerial Vehicles (MAVs)

Learn the basic concepts of micro aerial vehicle (MAVs) development. The program aims at providing key concepts in developing micro aerial vehicles (drones). The summer school not only provides a theoretical background on aerial autonomous vehicles, as dynamic/aerodynamic modelling and basic techniques of control, but it also details experimental aspects regarding the airframe design and implementation of such techniques on a homemade drone. Different specific drone configurations will be studied. Also, detailed realistic simulations will be performed, covering not only the drone's motion but also aerodynamic design aspects regarding real-world applications. At the end, each student will be able to get their own drone.
