The Mobile UX/UI Design Intensive provides students with a practical knowledge of UX principles, tools and techniques in user interaction and user experience design. Upon successful completion of the intensive, students will have completed a portfolio and gain a solid foundation in UX that can be applied immediately to their current or future job opportunities.
The Mobile UX/UI Design Intensive is scheduled to be completed over three weeks (Fridays and Saturdays) and costs $1500. Students pay the course fees at the time of registration.
Interaction Design, Mobile Web UX/UI Design or familiarity with basic UX design concepts and mobile devices is highly recommended.
Credit is recorded as continuing education units (CEU), which provide a standard of measurement for non-degree educational experiences. Continuing education units cannot be applied to a degree.

Prerequisites: Interaction Design, Mobile Web UX/UI Design or familiarity with basic UX design concepts and mobile devices is highly recommended.
This 30-hour certificate teaches user experience methods and best design patterns and strategies for iOS, Android mobile, tablet environments and mobile web, with special focus on critical elements of iOS and Android mobile apps: homescreen, search, navigation, forms and workflows. The majority of the program will be activity-based, focusing on hands-on applications of user-centered design approaches such as storyboarding user scenarios, user testing of paper prototypes using Rapid Iterative Testing and Evaluation (RITE) and practical application of mobile design patterns.

Mobile Design Principles
The class will review mobile design process and case study, differences between Android and iOS, along with storyboarding user scenarios and homescreen design patterns.
This module will review the design patterns for searching, sorting, filtering, data entry, forms and the design patterns to avoid missing or undesirable results.
The class will cover navigation and mobile banking as advanced mobile and tablet design patterns.
