Pre-Health Post-Bac Scholarship - Apply by October 2

Dr. Michael Green and Ann Sartori Scholarship

We are pleased to announce the Dr. Michael Green and Ann Sartori Scholarship is now accepting applications. Offered in the fall, the scholarship awards a $3,000 scholarship to a Pre-Health Professions and Pre-Nursing Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Programs student who demonstrates financial need and dedication to pursuing a career in the health professions.

The scholarship honors the memory and impact Dr. Michael Green has had on students and colleagues by establishing an ongoing fund to help highly motivated and deserving students in the programs.

Pre-Health Post-Bac Spring Application Deadline: October 1, 2023

Planning to go to medical school or nursing school? 

Complete the prerequisites in two years with SF State's Pre-Health Professions Post-Baccalaureate program, intended for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree and wish to apply to U.S. health professional schools.

Application Period: August 1 - October 1
Deadline: October 1, 8:59 p.m. PT/11:59 p.m. ET

Who Should Apply in Spring

  • Pre-Nursing Post-Bac: Applicants must have completed a basic biology course, a basic chemistry course and a college math course.
  • Formal Post-Bac:
    • Career Changer Track (CCT): Applicants must have completed major's level General Chemistry IOrganic Chemistry I and a college math course.
    • Academic Enhancer Track (AET): All applicants are welcome.
