Equity and Inclusion

Statement of Solidarity

The College of Professional & Global Education (CPaGE) is committed to dedicating resources that promote diversity, equity and inclusion at SF State, in the Bay Area and in our country as a whole. In particular, CPaGE condemns the recent increase in Anti-Asian rhetoric and violence exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

CPaGE supports a society and learning environment that is respectful of diversity, including socio-economic status, culture, religion, disability, race, gender or gender identity, sexuality, country of origin, age and ethnicity. Indeed, CPaGE's mission is to provide access to higher education to our local and international community members who need flexible and innovative programming to move their lives forward. Examples include:

  • New degree completion pathways for working adults who have some college credit
  • A university pathway program that diversifies the international student population on campus
  • Inclusion projects focused on under-resourced student groups, such as those with intellectual disabilities or a history of incarceration

We hope you find these resources useful and we encourage you to take action to support your community, no matter how small. If you would like to share a resource with us that is not listed here, we invite you to complete this brief form.
